Thimbles & Threads

Thimbles &Threads is very excited to again be included in the Wasatch Front Shop Hop. Our store is located in the historic district of Draper, Utah. Built by Utah Egg in 1910, the unique building was originally used as a poultry and egg distribution center. The restored structure, complete with its original plantation size porch and hardwood maple flooring, provides a charming, relaxed atmosphere to shop, share your latest project, or just stop by for a visit.

The recent weeks have been very exciting at the shop. Under new ownership, we have been busy ordering hundreds of bolts of new fabrics. Every day is like Christmas with all of the boxes coming in. We are rapidly expanding our inventory and have marked many bolts of fabric, quilt patterns, punch needle patterns, and embroidery floss at 50% off. Stop by and check out our bargain basement and help us make room for more new fabrics.

Thimbles & Threads is excited to offer in-house machine quilting services beginning in March. Cathie Zimmerman has been a longarm quilter for 7 years and has parked her Gammill in our lower level.

While there are lots of changes in the air, we still have our same friendly and helpful staff and will continue to provide the unique block of the month clubs and pre-cut kits that we have become known for.

The Thimbles staff can't wait for you to stop by this Shop Hop and celebrate Independence Day with us. The holiday brings to mind parades, summer picnics, and home made ice cream. And don't forget the fireworks. See you at Shop Hop!
