As representatives from each of our 15 shops met last week to discuss our 2011 Shop Hop, it dawned on me that several of us have been featured in Better Homes and Gardens "Quilt Sampler". For years, the issue came out in May and highlighted ten stores around the country; at some point, it was published twice a year, as it is now.
Whimsy Cottage was the first shop from Utah to be in the magazine - that was 2002. We were followed by Corn Wagon Quilts, Pipers, Material Girls, Quilter's Haven and this year, Pine Needles. That's 6 our of 15 and I expect the rest of the shops in our Hop will be recognized as well - each has its own personality and each is worth visiting over and over - cumulatively, we're the best of the best!
I, too, will mention our Fall Frenzy - it's a chance to win $100 gift certificates, get free patterns and see what's new. Our annual birthday sale always happens in October, so we're coordinating it with the Frenzy - we'll have our special sales in effect all four days - October 13th through the 16th.
